First stop, Degraves Street.

This is the street where i fell in love with melbourne. I flew in from Wellington, and was desperately in need of a cup of coffee. i Asked a few locals and they all directed me to this beautiful laneway known as Degraves Street. With cafes on both sides of the outdoor seatings…looks like something straight out of some european postcards.
Degraves cafe is situated in the middle of this cosy group of coffee drinkers. The locals who group around here are mainly designers or artists from the near by studios. At lunchtime, you will be lucky to get a seat..so get there either around 11am or after 2pm if you are after a quiet cup of coffee or tea, and have a little sketch on your notebook about ‘another’ brilliant idea. Yeah,,, definitely check out degraves for their famous foccacias and coffees.
