ShipWreck in St Kilda
The lady of St Kilda Shipwreck. St kilda, what’s in a name? This beautiful life size sculptural installation brings to life an imaginative interpretation of the lady of St Kilda, a 19th Century 136 ton schooner that arrived in Port Phillip in 1841 and from which the City of St Kilda took its name. The artist Corey Thomas hopes the sculpture provides a reminder of these old journey and forgotten narratives.
